Ajantha Home Stay was an absolute delight to stay in.
The online description falls short in communicating how well done and tastefully set up the home is. Fantastic decor, spotless cleaning, very friendly hosts. Where exactly is Ajantha Stay?
We're on a quiet hillock in Karnangeri, Madikeri, the heart of Coorg. We are a short drive from Raja's Seat, Madikeri Fort and Abbey Falls. The map below has directions.
How many rooms does the homestay have?
Two cosy bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom, plus a large living area, a sit-out and the garden, so it feels like your own home in the hills.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, a home-cooked breakfast is served every morning. There's also a kitchen with a fridge, kettle, microwave and gas stove if you'd like to cook.
Is it good for families?
Very. Most of our guests are families: kids, elderly parents, sometimes two families together. It's quiet and safe, with ample parking inside the compound.
Are there any house rules?
We're in a peaceful residential area, so loud music and parties aren't allowed. Everything else? Just make yourselves at home.
